The stories we tell have the power to shift perspectives, deepen understanding, and change lives. Stories are powerful.

As an author, my hope is to create threads of connection between our lives, our histories, the people we carry with us, and the readers who meet us on the page. When someone reads my work, I want our stories to weave together, even briefly, and for something meaningful to take root. If I’m lucky, the essence and intention of a story will settle into you the way a seed settles into soil. Like wildflowers, carried by wind or by hand, that story will eventually find its way somewhere new.
